Michael Hunter It was a nice overcast, rainy day. A good day for the Broiler lunch. We mostly had Waters and one margarita. We had wedge salads, 3 bowls of clam chowder, Cajun seared ahi Sashimi, Calamari Tempura, four coconut shrimp, and blackened salmon tacos. Everything was excellent, awesome Sashimi, Calamari, and clam chowder. Service was great, pace was clean, an nice views of the port.

Spirit of Texas Craft BBQ - San Bernardino

Imogen Nightingale If youre in the Inland Empire and craving real Texas BBQ, Spirit of Texas in San Bernardino is worth the trip. They smoke their meats for 4 to 14 hours with white oak and you can taste it. We tried the brisket sandwich on a fresh bun with cole slaw and cornbread straight out of the oven. Everything was tender, flavorful, and the portions were generous. Their house BBQ sauce hits that sweet spot, not too sweet or salty. The server even let us sample the other meats which was a nice touch. Sides are solid too. Mac and cheese, baked beans, green beans with turkey. For dessert they have peach cobbler and banana pudding. Place is clean, parking is easy, staff is friendly. A friend whos obsessed with BBQ recommended it and now I get why. Well be back.

Chanun Berry Got a gyudon bowl from the donut shop, seems like it was a little heavy on the mirin but it was ok. Donuts were fine too. Also got some salt and pepper chicken this one unfortunately wasnt very good(not spicy at all, not really even much salt on it. Kinda bland). Also tried a strawberry macha latte from the coffee shop and that was good. Service is a little weird, you just order from kiosks off to the side and then its like a weird 3 card monte where you pick up your food from since its obvious all 3 places share the same kitchen with the same guy popping out from behind all 3 curtains periodically. Also the rice bowls from the donut shop seems a bit pricey for the quantity.

Black Bear Diner Sunnyvale - Sunnyvale

Andrew Schwafel I love the consistency in the Black Bear Diners. This time I tried the meatloaf which was amazing. The family also had the club sandwich and my breakfast item of pancakes. All of which created a second meal to take home for the next day. The place was not too loud and consistent with other diners. Great food in great service.

Yummy Thai - Merced

B T A hole in the wall, but a must try! Best Khao Soy I’ve had in the States. It closely resembles the famous northern Thai Khaosoy dish. Noodles are a bit different, but flavor of the rich coconut curry broth is there.

Daniel Skupniewicz Small little Mexican joint that is a house of love and passion. So just try to show up when know one is there and you can just chill without much noise. Or feel crowded by other customers
