The Ham Stand - (Near Nevada City, CA)

Torrey Stapp I absolutely adore this place! The food is delicious and I love the atmosphere. It has a super cute sake bar vibe, lots of fun art on the walls and funky lighting. Great vegan options as well as a couple gluten free ones. The vegan miso ramen is to die for and my friends say they have the best sushi in town(in regards to fish quality and flavor). What really prompted me to write this review was the amazing service we received last night. After a long day of work and travel me and my friends were unsure of if any places were still open (even for takeout), but we were able to call in an order here before they closed and they were so kind. The portions were huge and we could not have been happier with the service we received.

Sara Gomez Food was perfect! I had the hot honey chicken and my husband had the fish & chips. Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious! Our server Stephanie was wonderful to talk with at the bar and very friendly. We will definitely be coming back over and over!

Ann Nguyen We were looking for a place to eat near the museum and found one with a LIVS yellow sign. We charged our Tesla nearby and walked to the restaurant for brunch. The place has a fresh yellow concept with a nice fountain at the front entrance. The lobster roll is delicious, with crunchy bread and a tasty signature sauce. The cheese blintz is a great option for a sweet breakfast. Service is good, I love this place!

Ke Cao The restaurant has a very cozy space with atmosphere of art, which makes me surprised. Seafood is very fresh and steak is tender and delicious. The green vegetables which recommended by the staff is also amazing. Even the dessert, nice and warm staff told us that it is popular because of not so sweet. Really know the taste of dessert for Asian people

Mike Manges I ordered the Combination Plate, Chile Relleno & Taco (shredded beef). The Chile Relleno had a mole type sauce on it that I thought was delicious. The Taco came with a very generous amount of shredded beef. On the side was a surprising amount of pico de gallo, guacamole, lettuce, sour cream and cucumber, in addition to the beans and rice. All n all…it was a great meal with a very competitive price. I’ll go back again.

Edna G Happened to see it while scrolling Yelp looking for something new to eat. This is located in the Ranch 99 market plaza in Fremont Blvd. They are new since September 2025. Nice modern decor and plenty of seats and possible a big group as well. My hubs and I were all greeted by their staff. Very friendly and helpful staff. They helped us to decide the best options on their menu and what to expect since its a new way of eating dry ramen called Mazeman. I tried the Cheese Mazeman and my hubs had their Deluxe Mazeman. The deluxe had everything but I like cheese. Haha We also had their Ikageso which is fried squid legs. Definitely, have their Asahi draft with your meal. ;) We actually tried something similar in San Mateo but it was ok. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and hospitality here as well as the food. Will definitely come back. I cant remember the young mans name but props to him how to eat their food. My first review of 2026!!
