Eric Moody This was a fun place to drop in for some good food and cold beer. the crowd was great, and surprisingly full for early on a weeknight. Seems like lots of patrons were locals / regulars which is how these breweries thrive.

Memos Cocina & Tequila Bar - Turlock

andrea ottman This is one of our two favorite Mexican (Latin)restaurants in turlock Service is always fast, menu has a lot of choices,. There is a bar area with happy hour every day, 3 TVs with sports showing without being disruptive, decor is nice with a Latin motif. The plates are plentiful and tasty. We are never dissatisfied with our selection. I love the presentation of each meal on the plate.

The Village Italian Restaurant - Novato

Patty Lopez Great flavorful dishes. The crust on their pizza is amazing and I usually dont eat the last part of crust. I devoured my entire Stromboli personal pizza crust and all. The house salad was enough to split for 2. My sister had the pasta of the day and it was a wonderful pasta with creamy pesto sauce and a side of delicious bread. We had a wonderful time. The ambience was very welcoming.
diamondback grill

Diamondback Grill - Sonora

Rating: 4.4 /5
eleanor jones Nestled right on Washington Street in historic Sonora, Diamondback delivers big on both atmosphere and flavor—especially with dishes like the Southwest Grilled Chicken Sandwich (we couldn’t resist adding crispy applewood-smoked bacon) and the Braised Pork Tostada. Southwest Grilled Chicken Sandwich + Bacon The tender, marinated chicken breast arrives perfectly char-grilled, with just enough smoky char to complement the bright poblano-lime aioli. Piling on bacon was a stroke of genius: it adds salty crunch without overpowering the other elements. Each bite combines juicy chicken, melty cheese creating a “southwest fiesta” in your mouth. Braised Pork Tostada The house-braised pork falls apart at the touch of a fork, richly flavored from hours of slow cooking in their signature ancho-chipotle broth. Lay atop a crisp, house-fried tortilla,-bright notes that cut through the pork’s savory depth. You’ll taste hints of orange zest and toasted cumin in every forkful. Quality & Presentation Both dishes arrive artfully plated—nothing over-garnished, but each component feels thoughtfully placed. Portions are generous (you’ll leave full and satisfied), and the ingredients consistently taste as fresh as they look. Overall Diamondback’s blend of down-home comfort and inventive flavor profiles shines through on every plate. If you’re in Sonora and craving a bold, well-executed sandwich or a tostada that hums with layered spice, you can’t go wrong here. Highly recommend pairing your meal with a glass of wine for the ultimate Sonora dining experience.

Menya Hanabi Arcadia - The Original Nagoya Mazesoba - Arcadia

William Mao Been swinging by this spot more often lately—especially with the hotter weather, I’ve been seriously craving their noodles. It had been a while since my last visit, but I’m glad I came back. You order through a QR code at the table, and my go-to is the Deluxe Mazemen—basically a dry Japanese noodle bowl loaded with toppings. The flavors are deep, rich, and full of umami. It can get a little heavy, but that’s where the vinegar comes in—just add a splash to balance it out. The chashu pork in the deluxe is tender and flavorful, and the noodles are always cooked just right. Once you finish most of your noodles, you can ask for a free scoop of rice to mix with the leftover toppings—a perfect way to round out the meal. Lately, I’ve also been enjoying their broth (I think it’s chicken and pork based)—a warm, comforting finish after all that richness. Solid spot, definitely worth checking out if you’re craving something savory and satisfying.
