The Trax Taproom and Kitchen - Roseville

Martinez Jose (JD) My wife and I stayed in Roseville for the night and wanted a fun date night. We accidentally came across this place. We noticed not many people were inside compared to other joints down the street, but this place had karaoke going on. The staff overall were very friendly and attentive. They helped us pick drinks and were just talkative overall. My wife and I even sang a song or two for karaoke night. We played board games together after enjoying some food and drinks. The poke nachos and buffalo wings were really good. I’d recommend for others seeking a date night. Karaoke night is Friday-Sunday.

Linen Cannon The tables can be found a bit sticky even when there arent many people there, but the customer service is generally quite good and the food is delicious and portions are robust. I just had one of their daily specials (see photo). I cant remember what the name of it was but its the 3rd or 4th time Ive gotten one of the specials and Ive never been disappointed. The service was also very fast, although I did have the advantage of going in while it was slower, around 5:30pm the week after the last Thursday night market of the year.

Charlene Larson Rotandi What a gem! We were looking for some seafood for our family, and were pleasantly surprised by the freshness and quality of the food! Also, great value and super hospitable staff. The fish and chips are generously portioned, and delicious. The grilled halibut with the corn risotto was excellent and devoured in no time. The fried brussel sprouts and calamari were appetizing and quickly enjoyed by all. The smoked beet and kale salad was scrumptious. We ended the meal with petite key lime pie in a mason jar which was “superb!” New chef and menu, an absolute must-go!

Xavier Sanchez Wow. Just wow. Service was above 10/10 Hands down the best experience I’ve had within a 30 mile radius. I travel a lot throughout California and this place stands above others by a large margin. First let’s begin with the entrance. Very homey, the art on the wall simple and nice, the style is great, nice bonsai decor. Noise level was low. As soon as I walked in I was seated, offered multiple tables. Once seated I was asked for my drink per usual but got it within 2 minutes. I couldn’t decide on what to order. And took recommendations instead, I got the Karaage chicken appetizer & Kati roll. I was asked if I needed anything multiple times and checked on multiple times, the perfect amount not too many and not while I was chewing. The waiters were very tentative only asked if looked around or wasn’t eating. The chicken was great and smelled similar to Oaxaca Mole. But tasted unique like a spicy orange chicken. Not very hot IMO but very flavorful spice level probably a 5/10 heat for an average person. The Kari roll was loaded, and the pricing compared to restaurants in San Jose were fairly less, about $9-$15. My only regret was eating breakfast.

Mandy Liao Tom Kha soup, pad Thai, Thai iced coffee, and curry were great. Soup was very flavorful and rich, pad Thai was saucy and tangy! Coffee didn’t have too much condensed milk and was perfect. Curry was not spicy at all even though it had jalapeños and one chili pepper on the menu - it could’ve used a little more spice tbh. Inside is very cozy, wait staff was great.
