Edward Hernandez Very lively but not sold out on Saturday night. Food came out very fast and was very good and they accommodated some requests for the food to be adjusted slightly. $12 glasses of good wine is actually a bargain in that neighborhood.

Anjera C Love this place. I can never go wrong the the RTR bowl with chimichurri sauce. Great value for a meal in the city. Depending on the day I might split up the bowl in two meals. We also got the seasonal squash which is our favorite. It’s sweet savory and really well done. My partner got the salad which was also great. They also have a green apple seasonal sorbet right now that is phenomenal! Its not overly sweet and has a nice tartness to it. Overall can’t go wrong with the food here!

Debbie Manriquez We enjoyed the friendly service. Food was good. Love the clam chowder in the sourdough bread bowl. Everyone seemed pleased. The view is incredible. They have happy hour menu at the bar. Drinks were not that good. We still enjoyed our meal. We have been here many times over the years and will continue to come back .

H D “Juanito” This is another one of those hole in the wall joints that will always make you come back for more. The place is nothing to look at, but it is clean, and God the dumplings and the beef brisket noodle soup were unbelievable. It is THE definition of northern Chinese comfort food. The amount of beef brisket in that dark decadent and rich soup was more than you can imagine. Probably the only thing that I have had in the SF area that actually meets the money value. If you couldnt get enough of it and too full to eat more, take the frozen ones home on the way out. Dont order the funky dumplings like Beef and Carrots, stick with the old school Pork and Cabbage, maybe Chives, you cant go wrong there. There is no alcohol here, the only down side!

James Wang Affordable and delicious Korean food with fast service, great taste, and good portions. Their Korean seafood pancake was really tasty, and their dolsot bibimbap had fresh ingredients. They provide fresh kimchi as part of their banchan and offer free refills. The dining space inside is rather tight with ~10 tables, but they also have a few 2-person outdoor dining tables. There is a paper waitlist on the back of the door.

Dakota Crow Hands down, top food I’ve had and on top of it all was gluten free. I’m GF and the fact I had options outside of changing the bun, or just a burger is first win but I had fried chicken, gravy, Mac and cheese, bread and they weren’t subs it was just their menu. Sammy was an INCREDIBLE waitress and took care of us and added to the evening. It was all so filling and for the atmosphere and food it was fairly priced. We are visiting but would 100% go back, it was delish! You must go. And she brought a blanket out for us since we sat in their outdoor seating

Phil Crest I visited on New Year’s Eve and they were running a set menu with plenty of courses! Delicious food and great service. Although it was a rainy night, we sat outdoors in the covered area and it was still perfect. Very warm with overhead heaters, completely sheltered, and the candles made everything cosier. No wind or breeze as it’s fully sealed + curtains by the entrance. Thank you, Octavia! Happy New Year!

10.LArdoise Bistro

Address: 151 Noe St, San Francisco, CA 94114

Bruno Ribeiro This food really is unmatched. The service was great and the atmosphere was cozy. It is working with a bit of a limited space, but they are so quick to service that you don’t even have time to notice. The portion are just right and the deserts aren’t too filling so definitely worth ordering some no matter how full you think you are. Plus apparently the chef is the owner, so good sign of quality of food! They have a weird curtain at the door that makes it seem like they are closed, but just ignore that.

11.Sams Grill & Seafood Restaurant

Carl Foisy We popped in for a quick bite to eat and headed to the bar. The bar area was packed while the dining room had some areas sit and eat. We chose to sit in the dining room. Instead of ordering individual entrées, we decided to order a handful of appetizers inside dishes to share. Our dining liaison was very accommodating and nice, with a couple of fun quickwitted jokes. Super nice guy. The hostess was also very friendly and accommodating. Lots of seafood on the menu, we enjoyed some smoked trout, cured salmon, octopus, and a couple vegetable sides. All very tasty.

12.Chapeau

Karina S Second time at Chapeau, and it’s always such a great experience! I celebrated my birthday here with friends and had a larger party of 10, which they happily accommodated (so appreciative & I reached out 1.5 months in advance). Chef Philippe brings such fun energy, and I really appreciated that he checks in on guests personally. The dishes were both delicious and beautifully plated, and the team was attentive throughout. Standouts: soupe à l’oignon, filet mignon, mussels, crème brûlée
