The restaurant is intimate and beautifully designed, and the service is warm, polished, and attentive from the moment you walk in. The tasting menu is the highlight here and the 18 course experience is thoughtfully presented, balancing technique with flavors and utilizing different temperatures and textures. Signature moments like the chocotherapy (a dish where you lick chocolate from your fingers), the interactive “Tree of Life” bread service, crunchy stone crab empanadas, "Lulo" dessert and "Rose Petals" add a playful, immersive touch without feeling gimmicky. Dishes throughout the meal showcase traditional Colombian dishes, clean flavors and beautiful plating. The pacing is smooth and efficient (approximately 1.5 hours for the whole experience), and the staff does an excellent job explaining each course and its inspiration. Wine pairings are also available along with non-alcoholic beverages if you prefer something lighter. While the experience is definitely on the higher end, the quality, creativity, and hospitality make it feel special and worth the occasion. El Cielo is a great choice for anyone looking for a unique, thoughtful, and beautifully executed tasting menu in Miami. 5 /5 Yesni Zuley Duran Fillippo: I celebrated my birthday at El Cielo, and it was an unforgettable experience. The evening was filled with creativity and surprises, including a delightful birthday drink served in the table’s flower vase. Each course carried a unique and meaningful concept, and the food itself was absolutely incredible, showcasing exceptional culinary artistry. The ambiance was elegant and immersive, while the service and attention to detail were truly out of this world.

1 /5 Xinnuo Li: I felt deeply scammed by this restaurant. While their presentation was impressive, the food quality and portions were very disappointing. Their signature dish, “Tree of Life,” is basically fried mochi. It was hard to pull a piece off, and the side seasoning was overly sweet and didn’t pair well with the bread. The soup served with it was too salty. They added ice flakes to the soup, but it didn’t enhance the flavor—if anything, it felt like a pointless add-on. One of the servers asked how I felt about the soup. I said it wasn’t really my thing. He didn’t ask why—he just walked away, which came across as arrogant and dismissive. This is the worst Michelin-starred restaurant I’ve ever tried. It doesn’t deserve a Michelin star, and it’s definitely not worth the 20% service fee or a $500 bill (if you order drinks). If you’re considering dining here, please treat yourself better and go somewhere else.

5 /5 Diana B.: We visited last year for our anniversary, and there were some truly impressive moments. The presentation of the dishes is elaborate and visually stunning, clearly inspired by Colombian flavors and culture. Each plate is thoughtfully crafted, creating a sensory experience where you interact with the food and learn the story behind its inspiration. For our anniversary, they even added a heart shaped detail dessert, which was a lovely personal touch. We especially enjoyed the presentation of coffee, it was beautiful immersive way to connect with my culture. That said, we had also been to the Bogotá location, and the flavors there felt more pronounced and enjoyable. While the dishes are beautifully presented at both locations, the taste doesn’t always match the creativity on the plate. The atmosphere in both restaurants can feel a bit bland compared to the visual experience. Overall, it’s a very, very nice experience, but given the price, it doesn’t quite live up to the full value you might expect.
