gordon devoss The Lodge is an often overlooked dining experience in Wakulla, right at Wakulla Springs. We almost always get steaks (I get the ribeye and my wife prefers the filet) with loaded baked potato and often a caeser salad. You can add 6 fried shrimp to your steak.....just saying. The pecan pie is great! There is a nice cocktail/beer/wine list as well. The dining room has a chill vibe and the adjacent main hall/fireplace/seating area has an old southern charm. After dinner, if you skip dessert, go next door to the parlor and get a ince cream, sundae, or fizz. You can walk down and swim or just check out the water. Also, if you turn in your park entrance receipt, they take it off the bill.

Iris Sweetcakes I have seen this restaurant a lot of Uber Eats and never ordered it. So I had to run and get my son medicine and feed my other kids, but had no clue what I was going to get. Then I seen the restaurant, now I’m not going to lie I didn’t go in because I was rushing to get my son medicine, so I didn’t do a thing to my hair lol. So I had my daughter go in and the lady could tell I’ve never eaten there before because I searched it up on Google and seen a pic and told her to show them and tell them this is what I wanted lol. Now my daughter comes out with a drink, and judging but the color I just knew it was tea, but my daughter begged me to try it. I took a sip and when I tell you I was at a lost for words. So I told my daughter I don’t know and didn’t care what it was, I want one and make it a large lol. Now when my daughter came out from getting the food a nice lady with blonde braids came out, and told me she added a turkey leg to my order for free, and me being the person I am, I love free food but I am big on customer service, and I loved the customer service, because she was asking my daughter what I liked while waiting on the food. She and I we had a small chat, and to find out the drink was tea. I am now a tea drinker lol. The food is so good I shared the food with my kids(even though they got Taco Bell before I discovered the restaurant) and my mom, because this was a place we never tried. And we was all about to jump on each other for the last little bit lol. It wasn’t about the free food, because you can get free food and it not be the best. It was her knowing and acknowledging she had new customers, so she had us try the drink which I ended up buying. I had my family try it and loved it so definitely gained new customers, and now I’m on Google telling all of Tallahassee my experience❤️. If you never tried oh’ Lemonade give it a try.

Shirley Lassiter Just across the street from Flagler Beach on A1A is the Anchor. The steamed oysters were tender and accompanied by horseradish, cocktail and hot sauce, melted butter, lemon wedge and crackers. Everything… the hot cup of clam chowder, garden salad, shrimp scampi with linguine was delicious. We appreciated they served the key lime pie in half to share so if you see it in the photos realize that is half of a slice shown. It was a wonderful atmosphere and also has a full bar to unwind and enjoy some beverages. Their liver and onions was recommended to me but they sold out the day before. I look forward to going back to experience more.

Madeline This tucked-in gem of a sports bar offers an elaborate menu of American staples to elevated options at a great price. It felt very relaxed with indoor and outdoor seating and personable bartenders. For appetizers we ordered the chips and queso and fried pickles. I appreciate that they offer reasonably priced cocktails from bourbon based to THC infused! I liked my Corvette Summer margarita. My Cajun Pasta was so flavorful and I had enough left over for another meal. My friends ordered the Brisket sandwich and Chicken Parm that also looked delectable!

Mind Set On Travel Can’t say enough about the Columbian Cafe at the Tampa Bay History Center. Based on the original Columbian Resturant in Ybor City, this location has both inside and outside (with heaters in winter time). Bars in both areas happy to serve you while waiting for your table. Highly suggest getting the red or white Sangria and the 1905 Salad which is made table side. The Cuban is a must have while the Chicken Dishes are plenty full. Stop by the gift store.

Paul This place is fantastic, food cooked with olive oil or butter, huge 4 egg omelette, thick bacon! Not cheap, but worth it! The food meets the expiration of the price Wish I took pictures of the food. We will be back
