Cracker Barrel Old Country Store - (Near Bloomington, IL)

1 /5 Bethany Bochar: So let’s start with the positive. The coffee was hot and the sales were amazing 40-70% off and that was the only good things. It took 39 minutes from order to food to come out and it’s was cool, all the food was cold. My kids weee hungry so they ate. It took over ten minutes for the waitress to come back in order to redo our food. When it came out again… cold! She said that the batch cook the food and it sits, um yeah when the restaurant is set at below 70 everything is cold including the people sitting in the restaurant. I appreciate our waitress trying to fix the issue but we still paid for cold food. If you come here in summer bring winter coats and long pants and an appetite for luck warm to cold food.

4 /5 Ozark Insiders: Love the warmth of the real fire. Busy as all heck... why did we get placed in the back corner when there were so many open seats in the middle section? Food was greasy a bit... you all cooking in seed oils yet? Gotta get back to safe beef tallow etc. Server was friendly and quick, but my wifes burger came out wrong and boys chicken had lots of oil between the bread and meat. Bathrooms were 50% clean. Overall, this wasnt a good experience but, eh... sometimes that happens.

2 /5 Taylor: To start on a positive note; Lucas is an amazing waiter. He was very attentive and kept his cool while the restaurant had higher volumes than they anticipated. I ordered a s’mores latte, I waited about 25 minutes for it to arrive and it tasted like burnt coffee with milk. After about an hour and 15 minutes our food came out at the same time as the appetizers and bread. The presentation of the dishes was terrible, there was food smeared on every single one except the chicken fingers. I had the lunch portion of the chicken and dumplings, the dumplings were huge chunks and not the normal bite size dumplings. There was so much salt it made my mouth hurt. My mom had the country fried chicken and it came out barely warm. The onion petals were really good, they had a nice crunch and a rich flavor.

5 /5 Rick White: Had supper here on 10.15.2025 and was served by Melissa. She was Amazing and the hashbrown casserole Sheppards pie was outstanding!! Definitely will eat at this location again when I travel though Illinois.

2 /5 Maffe Bernales: Normally like Cracker Barrel but this one wasn’t up to standard. Ordered chicken noodle soup, vegetable platter and breakfast burger. Chicken soup was not hot. Broccoli was not cooked. Burger did not come out until end of the meal. The check came so late the server thought we left without paying! We were just waiting by the fireplace.
