Floras Diner - (Near Flora, IL)

4 /5 Gary Inyart: First time here and it was a very nice place to get something to eat. We went on a Saturday evening and it was 12 degrees outside. We decided to drive the 35 minutes to get here and glad we did. I had the pork steak and my wife had a huge club sandwich. We tried to eat here one other time for breakfast on a Saturday morning and it was packed. You know its good when you can not find a parking spot ,so we knew right then we had to try it someday. The staff is great.

3 /5 Thomas Mertz: This is a typical highway diner having an extensive menu to meet anyones taste. The portions were very generous. My teriyaki beef stir fry tasted exactly as I expected and had tender meat and lots of vegetables. The side salad was huge and the ingredients fresh. The cook made my wife a custom grilled Swiss cheese and tomato sandwich on caraway rye which she somewhat enjoyed but would have preferred it to be more toasted. Oddly, when we didnt order right away, the server seemed miffed and proceeded to ignore us. We waited another 10 to 15 minutes for someone to take our order. After that, service proceeded smoothly.

2 /5 Drew Shidle: When you go somewhere new you normally get something safe, well we got chicken tinders and a burger, and were not surprised by any means, had zero flavor fries were not salted, the burger was just ground burger meat no seasoning or salt at all so I attempted to drown it in ketchup did not help it at all. The chicken tinders tasted like they were breaded with just plain flower. We also ordered fried picked which were extremely salty and no crunch to them at all. The absolute best part of the entire meal was the soup. The soup genuinely the best soup Ive ever had in my entire life, Ive been day dreaming of that soup sense the moment the last spoonful left my mouth, the soup was by far a 10/10. The food was probably a 1/10, if I ever go back it will be for the soup. Service was great too.

4 /5 Deanna Birkla: We were grateful to come across this hometown diner on New Years Day as it was one of only places open, but we even more pleasantly surprised by the service and the affordable, diverse menu. Our family was able to sample the breakfast, lunch and dinner entree options at the same meal. Only wish we were able to sample the desserts as they looked and sounded delicious

5 /5 Bekki Goss-Smith: The food and the service was wonderful! Our drinks were never empty. Our meals were all correct, and every person working there had smiles on their faces the entire time we were there. The price was good too. 10/10 recommend.
