Catfish Hut - (Near DeRidder, LA)

Amanda Simpson We adore the loft! Ron and Angie are the sweetest people! Our favorite bartender is miss “RED”! The place is always clean and inviting. The balcony overlooking the river and front street are a vibe! The bathroom is always clean (can only speak for the ladies lol. Sorry men…my husband hasn’t had any issues though!) I haven’t tasted everything on their menu but I can vouch for their dirty fries!!!! Them things are soooo good! They’re welcoming and very attentive to their customers. I recommend the loft to everyone we know .

DEBORAH CRAWFORD My husband and I drove about an hour just to find a new restaurant this past Sunday. So after searching Google we found Roma in Ruston La. It was busy of course and perhaps we went through the wrong door( it was by the bar) when we were approached by this waitress who was having what looked like an anxiety attack. She had a long braided brown ponytail and she looked like she needed a smoke break. She never smiled, even when she passed by our table. Nevertheless, the food was very good ( a Greek salad with added chicken and spaghetti for my husband). The other waiters and waitresses were friendly and accommodating. They made us forget about the one we meet around the bar area. Our waiter had a wonderful smile and made sure were taken care of. One bad apple did not stop the whole show. We will be coming again.

Brandon Marsh First our server was amazing i forgot your name but me and my wife had lunch and it was absolutley a great experience. We ordered our normal appetizers ikura and maguro sushi , some yellow tail and salmon. Shumai also. Food came out quick and portions was generous. For mains ordered triple sec and rainbow both was delicious fresh and had left overs All and all its a great place to eat we have been coming here for a bit

Sean Herlihy Phenomenal all around! Servers were fantastic, attentive, and very personable. The spinach casserole appetizer was a great start. Our 4 year old loved the kids Catfish and fries. My wife had the Catfish Pecan and I had the Fig Glazed Roasted Duck, both paired with Sweet Potato Souffle. 10/10 for everything we ate and really a place to return to on future nights out!

Camarra B. Love at first bite.... This was my first time trying KOK Wings & Things and I am very impressed. I had sweet heat and lemon pepper wings, a catfish & shrimp basket with a side of sweet heat/honey garlic rub fries and everything was absolutely amazing. To add to my experience, the customer service was great and the atmosphere was very fun. Next time Im in the area, Im stopping by for sure!! And if you stay in the area, then you must check them out!

eva This place was very small but so amazing. The service was impeccable and the food was amazing. Our server was so kind and helped me pick a sauce for my wings that wasn’t to spicy and even helped us bag up our to go boxes. The portions are just right, with a little left over to bring home, and the prices are super fair. The little shop is super cute and has a small spot for photos. Overall wonderful place, would definitely recommend for some quick food :)
