Roy Shelley A little difficult to find, and space is multilevel and large. Seat yourself, order at the bar, and food is brought to the table. Grilled chicken club was delicious. Chips were surprisingly delicious. Wife enjoyed the grilled chicken salad. Wide selection of beers on tap.

Megan Slater The best roasted vegetables Ive ever had. That might not sound exciting, but I couldve eaten those vegetables every day of my life. They were SO GOOD. We were so happy the server recommended them. Staff was really friendly. The restaurant had a cool renovated-antique vibe. Breakfast was yummy and reasonably priced!

Theresa St. John Went here last night and was very pleased with my meal. I had a side Greek salad, homemade mozzarella sticks, and their specialty pork chop. Theres also a photo here of their chicken Kabobs (came to the bar at the same time for another patron) and I enjoyed a blood orange margarita. YUMMMMM. I asked to see two of their bourbon bottles - the restaurant has a strong following of bourbon lovers. Staff was super friendly, Frank was an amazing bartender who made me feel very welcome. The bar area got busy quickly and he handled everyone without missing a beat. Would go again, for sure!

Bobby Brown Passion for Service and the Consistency of Excellence: What can one say about this little miracle of a Restaurant. When upon entering the front door your instantly greeted by cheerful smiles of the staff, then during your visit the owner breaks free from the kitchen to make table visits ensuring enjoyment and comfort, the ambiance of warm glows and welcoming vibes of history as you look around the restaurant, it begs to tell a story of yesterday, then the star of the show arrives: Enter the appetizers, entree’s and desserts that somehow transport us from the daily grind to a slower pace to enjoy how it feels to lucky be able to share and spend time together enjoying a wonderful dining experience together! Laughter, happiness and just being in the moment. Staff is always glowing with steps of hospitality and flavors that never disappoint the tastebuds. The Owner is Always Present and is Easily Accessible to Talk with. A True Hands on Restauranteur at its Finest. Most owners tell you what to do, in this case He shows you how it’s Done and Does it Well. That warm glow inside the building just makes you want to stay just a little bit longer. It just doesn’t get any better than this.

Ron Randall 41st anniversary dinner for my wife, had to try this place, for years I ask her to make reservations and she just blew me off, her uniqueness. Showed up at 6 first mistake, it was quite loud older folks really can set the noise level up there. We had been seated very fast, OK it was an excellent start, the waitress was with us within a couple minutes with water and bread, nice a step above our usual steakhouse up by the mall. We had no appetizers, just ordered our dinner, we both had the "Surf & Turf" which was a 24 ounce prime rib, I ordered the chicken scampi & my wife ordered the shrimp scampi, which was part of the meal, we had a tossed salad and a baked potato also part of the Surf & Turf which is $56.xx The salad arrived in about 10 minutes it was excellent, and we had time to talk and enjoy our salad before the main course arrived. The main course arrived 12-15 minutes later which was perfect in our opinion. The prime rib wss cooked perfectly to our idea of medium rare, both pieces had a nice broiled appearance, the taste & tenderness was delicious. My wife said the shrimp 4 nice sized shrimp perfectly cooked, very lightly battered, crunchy but tender, she thought they were amazing. The chicken I had appeared to be a large breast that was pounded to tenderize it, it was in a sauce heavily tasting of garlic delicious, not a stringy breast you buy at the grocery store or it was properly tenderized prior to cooking. The bake potato was not a "Idaho baking potato" with the heavy skin and yellow coloration, it was according to my wife a "chefs potato" it was excellent, nice and creamy cooked to perfection. This place will replace the chain steak restaurant we would frequently visit. The bill was 124.xx that included 9.xx tax. We tipped the waiter $20.00 My wife and I really enjoyed our visit although a tad loud at the time we went on a Wednesday. Still an enjoyable anniversary dinner. Lets see if our next visit will be as pleasing.

Haiku Sushi - Riverhead

Norman Bartner Ken and his wife are the family owners of Haiku. Sometimes their son is the busboy. We dine there frequently because they have the best menu, with the freshest ingredients. Been eating Japanese food for 65 years everywhere, NYC, Cal., New Jersey, Chicago, Colorado, etc. Their fish is ALWAYS fresh! The rolls are amazing! Not the most enticing dining room, not super fast service. But we come to enjoy a comfortable environment in a casual manner. Cant eat atmosphere or shove food down as fast as possible. North forkers know Haiku very well, while it is still a secret to people on the south fork. Easily the greatest value value among Japanese restaurants anywhere. HNY & merry xmas Dr. Norman Bartner
