Norman Bartner Ken and his wife are the family owners of Haiku. Sometimes their son is the busboy. We dine there frequently because they have the best menu, with the freshest ingredients. Been eating Japanese food for 65 years everywhere, NYC, Cal., New Jersey, Chicago, Colorado, etc. Their fish is ALWAYS fresh! The rolls are amazing! Not the most enticing dining room, not super fast service. But we come to enjoy a comfortable environment in a casual manner. Cant eat atmosphere or shove food down as fast as possible. North forkers know Haiku very well, while it is still a secret to people on the south fork. Easily the greatest value value among Japanese restaurants anywhere. HNY & merry xmas Dr. Norman Bartner

Jessica Rios My husband and a few friends of ours happened to be visiting the area from NYC, and we were elated to find this place! It has it all. A comfortable atmosphere, fantastic and attentive service, and super solid pub menu. Loved the fish and chips (rightfully and properly served with malt vinegar!), shepherds pie, and chicken pot pie. We also started with cups of the New England clam chowder - which was nice and hearty. Whenever we are in rockland county again - we’ll be back.

Artistry 2004 Ate here for the first time today and loved it! I ordered the Chicken Soulvaki Pita and fries. The portions were large. The Pita wrap here is one of the largest I have ever seen. The chicken was juicy and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend trying the Chicken Soulvaki Pita if you havent already.

Peter Lupkowski First trip here. We enjoyed ourselves. The menu has many choices and the food was good and well presented. Staff are fast and got everything right. There were 3 or 4 sports choices on the TVs. We liked sitting in a small area away from the bar. Worth a stop
