Asabi Tried this place a few months ago on the way home. We stopped off and found this small place that’s very unassuming but very good and a hidden gem! The staff were very kind and made us feel welcomed when we dined in. Would absolutely recommend trying it for some good Jamaican food!

Jennifer Shadduck Love this place! Had a fantastic first experience and will definitely make PKs a regular stop for a few brewskies, a great meal, or both! We had a party of 5 and were seated right away. EVERYONE was super friendly and attentive to our needs. It was obvious the employees enjoyed their jobs, lots of smiles and great attitudes, made for a really enjoyable atmosphere. Our appetizers were brought out quickly and we were able to enjoy our drinks and munchies while our entrées were prepared. I wish I got more pics because everything looked awesome! All food was brought out hot and all together, just a few minutes after we finished our apps. Now let me just say, greens are an absolute favorite of mine, I order them everywhere, every chance I get. Hands down! PKs NAILS IT with their greens! Dare I say, theyre the best Ive had. Theres no way I cant order them every time I go in now. The food was on point, so delicious, and everyone was very satisfied. Prices are totally reasonable as well. So happy we decided to check PKs out!

Bob Walter This small Italian/Sicilian restaurant has amazing food! There is some indoor and some outdoor seating. It is great for both grabbing a quick pizza or for a sit down meal with the family. The Buffalo chicken Riggie is mild and filled with onions and peppers in a delicious sauce, the penne Alfredo was amazing and you can request to add chicken and/or broccoli. Every person in our 11 person party had a truly delicious and generous portioned meal. *Pictures taken during meal while there was still something to take a picture of.

Misty Garafalo Maxine was our server, she was super from start to finish! We had several dishes from the Calamari to the Italian Burger to the Bacon Cheddar Burger, Roasted Red pepper Gouda bisque, Tuscan chicken panini, Buffalo Mac and Cheese,the Everything Wings were to die for BTW and the taco salad. The guys had some craft beers and the blackberry strawberry cider. Great atmosphere and place to stop while traveling through..... Service top notch, food even better!

Alison Baker We broke down in Herkimer NY. Spent a week at Hometown motel where were treated nicely and love to get Beltres daily specials for dinner! People were friendly and food was delicious they would make us fresh coffee every time they saw us walking over and they made some good Italian subs.

Dayna Campbell I’ve ordered from KFC quite bit, maybe 1-2 a month for the past nearly 18 months. Each and every time I order there is an issue. Typically I order through the KFC app. 99% of the time, the chicken type distribution is wrong (e.g. I order “dark meat” but I get white meat) and I typically call to receive some correction. This time I’m appalled because the one time they got the chicken right, it comes soggy (skin separated in chunks in the wet bucket, lots of moisture trapped in the bag ) and without the four sauces I ordered that are listed on the digital receipt AND the one taped on the bag. KFC is the only place that I haven’t seen really optimize and update their to-go packaging. The plastic traps the heat and encourages everything to sweat. They could take a note from places like Rick’s Famous Burgers in Utica. Additionally, as someone who was a Door Dasher and is a consistent customer, it’s disappointing that they don’t check the food when packaging and giving to customers. I NEVER see the list checked off or the name of the team member who reviewed the food while packaging. My delivery driver wouldn’t have been able to check for the sauces anyway because of the safety packaging (which I do appreciate as someone who gets delivery). KFC in general has gone down in quality in general over the years and it’s things like this that are particularly disappointing. Spending $90 only to be disappointed because the condiments weren’t there is irritating. This could have been easily avoided with a simple check of the bag. Maybe if they did that, I would have gotten my full order without the random drink I DIDN’T order. On a positive note, I truly feel like the attitude and demeanor of the employees has improved over the last few months. I don’t go inside often but the newer people I wasn’t familiar with before have been very polite upon entry into the store.

Robert If you can ever get a perfect breakfast at Denny’s this was it!! The one breakfast to judge all!! The staff are amazing, the food delicious and presentation was perfect.Very nice way to start the day!

Existing exists Lisa has got to be one of the best to-go specialists in Herkimer, NY. She made sure my order was correct and packed neatly and even asked me if I needed anything before I left the lot. She is very friendly, hardworking, and passionate about the job that she does. Keep up the good work!

Athena Gamutan Lots of food options from soup, fried rice, noodles, vegetables, meat, seafood, desserts, etc. and all tasted very good—kept warm by stoves so no worries about cold food. The staff were very kind and accommodating. Chairs and tables were in good condition and the place is well-lit. The restaurant plays the kind of music that sends you back to 2017 but the volume is not disruptive. Would definitely go here again!

Michael Polak Unbelievable... The place was clean! & the server who brought my food to my table actually asked me if I needed anything such as ketchup and then he brought it to me. All staff was very polite. I was actually happy.

Brandon Morris I am going to rate this establishment based off of many traits. Atmosphere. Friendly Staff. Family Friendly. Wait times. Food flavor. Consistency. Starting with Atmosphere. They have both indoor and outdoor seating areas. The first time we sat inside, the second we went outside. Both are absolutely gorgeous. I had to double check the menu prices to make sure we werent eating at a crazy fine dining restaurant. Beautiful marble panels and fake shrubbery on the walls. A large flatscreen above a fireplace. Outside is even more beautiful. Turf floor with shrub panels lining the walls. A area with a roof that contains a couple outdoor couches. They nailed the name paradise, it was stunning. The atmosphere makes you forget all your troubles as if you are on vacation dining at a fancy restaurant or one of those fancy mansions in the movies. We had different waitresses both times we went, both were very friendly. Always serving with a smile and checking up on us a few times to make sure everything was good. They do offer high chairs and do not serve alcohol so they are purely family friendly. I saw some reviews about wait times, but I laugh at unprofessional reviews. Which once again, those reviews only glorified their ignorance. We arrived at 7:54pm on a Tuesday the first night and were seated immediately. The second time was 4:55pm on a Thursday and we were seated close to 5:00pm. Now for the juicy part. The food and drinks. Drinks: We tried the Shirley Temple, Blueberry Breeze, and Tropical Fizz. All wonderful drinks. My personal favorite was the Blueberry breeze, if you were to picture a flavor to represent summer, it would be this drink. The tropical fizz was very tart. I love tart/ sour things, but this one was a little too tart for me, still had a very good taste though. Appetizers/ Sides: Mozzarella sticks, mac and cheese, and french fries. The mozzarella sticks were simply delightful. Cooked so perfectly to where the cheese felt soft and creamy in your mouth. The marinara was also very good. It was unique, nothing you would buy in a jar at a store. The fries were also very good. Unfortunately not fresh cut, but they had a nice batter on the outside that gave them a perfect crunch when you take a bite. They were also seasoned nicely to where you could enjoy them even without ketchup. Paradise eatery nailed the cheese game. I want to know their secret on cooking cheese so perfectly. Again the cheese was soft and creamy, melting in your mouth. The blend of different cheeses mixed together really nicely with the spices they added to make a delectable dish. Main dishes: Tacos and steak bowl. This was the consistency test. I was blown away by the tacos. The flavor in the meat has a very dynamic profile, all of the spices create this beautiful robust flavor that bursts as soon as your tongue touches it. I had the soft tacos, but they gave them a slight fry with gave the shells a satisfying crisp. The flavor was consistent through every single bite. This is the dish I tested for consistency, ordering it both visits. PASSED with flying colors. How can you be blown away with something a second time? I dont know, but they did it with their tacos. A nice touch is the build your own where you can choose a variety of toppings and sauces to put on your tacos to meet your liking. Next the steak bowl. It is served with their "boom boom sauce" in the bowl which has some spice to it. Tastes like a french dressing base with some kick. Really nice flavor, but if you dont like spicy, then ask for it to be removed. The steak in the bowl was perfectly seasoned. I love my seasonings so a typical "over seasoned" steak I would still love. But the seasoning on their stake was there, but not too overpowering so you get the nice steak flavor along with it. Overall, Paradise Eatery in Herkimer is an absolute wonderful place to eat and a must try if you are visiting the Herkimer area. If you are feelings stressed out, stop into Paradise, the scenery will make you forget about all your troubles. I am looking forward to their future.
