5 /5 Yenlik (Enlik): A Truly Unforgettable Dining Experience at the EL Gaucho! We celebrated our anniversary at EL Gaucho, and it was absolutely phenomenal! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly host and immediately immersed in the warm atmosphere, complete with live pianist playing beautiful classical and contemporary music that set the tone for a wonderful evening. Ambiance & Service: The restaurant was beautifully decorated, and they even covered our table with rose petals, wrote a personalized card, and created a customized menu with our names to make our anniversary celebration memorable! Food: Everything we ordered was exquisite: - *Bone Marrow and Scallops*: The sauce from the scallops perfectly complemented the bone marrow. Our server kindly served it as an appetizer, even though it was listed as a side dish. - *Salad with Pistachios*: A delightful mix of flavors and textures. - *King Crab Legs*: Succulent and flavorful, with a delicious butter sauce. - *Flaming Steak*: Tender, juicy filet mignon with a fun presentation. - *Crème Brûlée*: Creamy, crunchy sugar coating, and perfectly balanced with fresh coffee and espresso. - *Sea Bass in Shoyu Sauce*: Melted in your mouth, with a perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors. *Cocktails:* The mixologist truly outdid themselves! The *Filthy Martini* with a Grey Goose and *Old Fashioned with Woodenville Bourbon* were among the best Ive ever had. We also enjoyed the *Sparkling Rosé Cremant Brute*, which paired perfectly with rich foods like bone marrow and oysters. Overall: El Gaucho exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff is amazing, and becoming a member is a must! If youre looking for a special occasion spot or just want to treat yourself, look no further. Well definitely be back!

1 /5 jonathan c: Do NOT go here over the Seattle location, period. I have been going to El Gaucho Portland and Seattle many times over the last two decades, and while I am consistently delighted by the experience at those two locations, THIS location has consistently disappointed and the food quality and service is nowhere near the other two locations. 1). Tables are much more cramped and waiters check on you at a much slower rate than other locations. Expect to spend over 2x as long waiting to place your order, getting bread, water, everything. 2). Ceasar salad is way off. Lettuce is not anywhere near as crispy as it is elsewhere, dressing is way too cheesy and not the same tart flavor at the Seattle location. They didn’t even ask if i wanted pepper. 3). Steak is way off - does not have the signature charred exterior that El Gaucho steaks should have, and the side of asparagus was a joke. Literally could’ve been just steamed. 4). Service is slow and has weird quirks? i.e. they gave us sparkling water but didn’t bring us new cups so we had to chug our tap water to drink the sparkling, or mix in the sparkling with still. Forget asking for new cups since the server won’t be with you for another 10-15 min. I has one bad experience here 3 years ago (i was abandoned by the server on the balcony multiple times during the dinner and waited 10 minutes to get a fork after receiving my dessert), but this most recent experience settles this as the vastly inferior steak experience. Please go to El Gaucho in Belltown, or at the very least save yourself $200 and get yourself an applebees 2 entree special. Bonus - parking situation is a joke, no signs for self park (only valet) and we parked in the city garage paying an extra $15.

3 /5 Chas Burgess: We went New Years Eve and have always heard good things about it. I will say it was decorated very nice and had a very nice ambiance overall and everyone there was very pleasant and friendly. We both got steaks and unfortunately were disappointed given the caliber of the restaurant. I ordered the bone-in ribeye cooked medium and it was cooked medium on the outside and more medium rare and colder temperature towards the middle. Given how its usually listed amongst the top steakhouses and the greater Seattle area, all of which I have been to, this was unfortunately a let down. If I were eating this at an Outback Steakhouse at their prices, I would say its a decent steak. I never have to put salt on my steak when I get it from a high-end restaurant or steakhouse but this time I had to. Given the lack of flavor and how it was cooked, I would not recommend this location for the steaks. We did have the baked potato and that was good but thats also hard to make incorrectly however, it came out several minutes after our steak when we asked our waitress about it because someone else brought it to the table. Our waitress was very nice Im putting in great effort to keep up with the tables but I think they were just overwhelmed that night given the holiday as even getting drink refills was a challenge but we did not hold that against her. Overall, I would not recommend this location for the steak but maybe other main dish items based on other peoples reviews.

5 /5 Anna Holubovska: We came here for dinner on Christmas Eve, and at first, our experience wasn’t the best. However, after that, Max came over to help us, and everything completely changed. He made the most amazing dessert, and honestly, he turned our whole evening around. Thanks to him, we felt truly happy and taken care of. Max fixed the situation so professionally and kindly, and he made our night so much better. We’re leaving with a great impression, and we will definitely come back — just for this experience.

5 /5 Tayna Lorella: We hosted an 80th surprise birthday party at El Gaucho in Bellevue, and the experience was absolutely exceptional. From start to finish, the staff was wonderful to work with—extremely organized, professional, and accommodating. Planning for a group of 80 people can be challenging, but they executed everything flawlessly. The food was fabulous, the venue was perfect for the occasion, and every detail was handled with care. Our guests were impressed, and the guest of honor felt truly celebrated. I couldn’t recommend El Gaucho Bellevue more highly for a special event.
