Lei Bee-Em Good yummy dishes. Authentic ilocano dinakdakan, pinakbet, papaitan kambing, igado and dinuguan are what we had. Great shareable serving size even for the combo meal. Yes they are Ilocanos and they serve good food in their humble restaurant.

Kwak Family Dec 2023 The food was the same as in July - good taste and portions with fresh ingredients (evident by the freshness of the spicy raw crab dish). Consistent with the signs of the time (inflation and possibly change of management philosophies), the value has gone down as the price jumped by ~ 33% since the last time. I am keeping the 5-star overall rating but reducing the service rating as it was a bit difficult to get their attention after the initial delivery of the food. July 2023 We were pleasantly surprised by the quality, the good taste, and the value of this restaurant! For less than 100 dollars (ordered a combo meal, not barbecue), four of us had our fill and had a lot leftover to take home. The seafood pancake had crunch texture outside and soft but well cooked inside - this is the way it should be, which most places cant seem to achieve. The spicy, marinated (raw) crab was also very fresh and excellent! Bulgogi, fermented bean based hot pot, and the soybean casserole were all good, as well as all the side dishes. All dishes had quality ingredients and good balance among different flavors necessary to achieve the authentic Korean taste! I would definitely stop to have a meal here as we travel to and from Seattle!

Soung Son Federal Way was in dire need of a new shabu place and Shabu Zone seems to be the answer. It’s a sister store from the one in Texas and from talking to the servers the owner is from here which makes sense. Thank you! First off it’s super clean and well made and gives you a solid Korean-esque vibe which we loved and appreciated. Food was top notch, and the sauces are so good! The spicy ponzu! Is the move. Service was on point and the ice cream was better than what we expected whenever a restaurant says they got free ice cream. Long story short. Federal way has a ton of places that offer all you can Korean bbq for the similar price of shabu zone. The lunch special pricing is good and if you really for the funds, then dinner will be good too. Try it.

Jason Ray Pascua I had a great experience at Nami Sushi in Federal Way! After spending a few minutes trying to decide on the menu, our server came over and pointed out the specials—which made the decision so much easier. We ended up with 3 rolls, calamari, miso soup, and tea, all for under $70, which felt like a steal. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was just as impressive as the value. Fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Definitely a spot worth returning to when you’re craving good sushi without breaking the bank!

The food quality is incredible—the meats are well-marinated and way better than the overpriced corporate places. The best part, though, is the service. The staff is attentive, welcoming, and they actually took the time to help us cook our food to perfection. You can tell they actually care about their customers regardless of who you are. No rushed timers or forgotten orders here—just great vibes and even better food. If you’re looking for authentic K-BBQ and top-tier service, support this local business instead. J We really enjoyed Crawfish Island! The food and sauces were so amazing!! We got the Island Combo and chose the fried basket! It was so delicious but I do have to say that Im a little heartbroken over the fact that our lobster tail seemed off. It tasted weird and the texture was overly mushy. Never tasted or felt lobster like that before. I was expecting it to be juicy and flavorful. Maybe just bad luck on the tail but Other than that everything was absolutely delicious . I cant believe I forgot our waitresses name but she was very sweet and helpful. We came in on Tuesday 7/15 and it did end up getting really busy as we were leaving and she was so kind and helpful and it looked like she was running the dining area all by herself and doing an amazing job at it! My daughter got cheesecake for her birthday with a candle and the waitress even sang happy birthday for her! Super sweet! I definitely recommend Crawfish Island and cant wait until our next visit!!

Scott Best Jack’s BBQ – Grand Opening Breakfast, Federal Way Today was the grand opening of Jack’s BBQ in Federal Way, and I took my grandson for breakfast. The first thing you notice is the life-size cow on the roof — it’s impossible not to miss! The exterior is spotless and freshly painted, with bright neon window signs adding to the fun Texas vibe. Inside, it’s cozy and welcoming, with red-and-white checkered tablecloths and Texas décor filling the walls, including classic cow horns for that authentic touch. We arrived just minutes after they opened and were customers #3 and #4. The staff was friendly, and the full menu already featured all of Jack’s classics, plus a new breakfast section that’s a real winner. Breakfast includes three BBQ-meat tacos on flour tortillas with eggs, cheese, and potatoes — your choice of brisket, pulled pork, or jalapeño sausage. I ordered the brisket and sausage; my grandson Matt chose sausage too. Both were hearty, smoky, and packed with meat. The sausage had that signature BBQ flavor, sliced perfectly, while the brisket was tender and full of rich smokehouse flavor. Their breakfast is highly recommended — Matt even ate his taco in the car on the way to school! It’s great to finally have a place like this in Federal Way. We’ll definitely be regular customers.

S The catfish, hush puppies, fried okra, and Louisiana Boudin was cooked to perfection and was very delicious! My first time trying Louisiana Boudin and it didn’t disappoint. Great portions that will leave you satisfied. These guys are definitely cooking with peace and love! Keep it up! I’ll be back! Thank you!

Itchy Itchy The food here is amazing! Their kimchi is the best! We ordered the pork bossam, cheese pork ribs, spicy pork soup, fried chicken wings, and seafood pancake. Everything was perfectly crispy and light!
