Cat M. We were looking for a place to eat since we only had a few hours to spend in Albany, found this place online. Will be honest at first I wasnt so enthusiastic about the place we walked by without noticing the entrance. The place was empty, so we got a table right away. We order the food and drinks. Our waitress came several times to the table to check on us. The fried chicken with the mac and cheese was amazing but the rice was not much. As appetizer, we got chicken egg rolls and they were delicious. Definitely try their banana pudding it was the best way to end our trip to Albany.

C The service here is warm and welcoming! I tried the grilled cheese crepe with ham and scrambled eggs, and it was absolutely delicious. Even the salad, which I don’t usually enjoy, was surprisingly tasty. Their sweet crepes are equally delightful. Plus, the convenience of online ordering and payment makes the experience even better!

Michael Delgado Great food spot! We tried out some Mac and cheese and corn bread as well as the red velvet cake. The Mac and cheese is AMAZING!!!! The flavor is so good and it’s simply delicious! The corn bread was good too, but the Mac and cheese was the star of the show. Some suggestions: better lighting in the outside, the place seems closed sometimes because it’s so dim. We could have gone much sooner but it always looked closed. The food is amazing. Can’t wait to go back! ** they also do not accept cash, card only. They also have some self order kiosks. Very modern.

Chelsea My husband surprised me with reservations for this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. I was blown away by all elements of our experience. Such a kind and attentive waiter. Everything we ordered was so flavorful and well balanced. We were hooked trying their side of meatballs as our appetizer. So moist and perfect. They had top notch cocktails, with great base alcohols. The atmosphere was cozy and romantic. The noise level was just right for intimate conversations. Plus they boxed everything for us. Be sure to make a reservation, as it’s worth the hype and space is limited.

Joyce Lago I recently treated my mentee here for dinner and we had a lovely time. We both ordered the oxtail meal and it was sinfully delicious! I cannot wait to have it again. We also loved the tropical juice with the sugared rim. It was so good, we didnt order alcohol. The servers were friendly, and the restaurant (including the bathroom!) was nice and warm. And beautiful artwork adorns the walls. We will definitely return!

John H On Saturday evening 7/19/25 I ordered a chicken salad. Its a large, delicious salad with marinated chicken over the top of it. It was absolutely amazing . The person that waited on me was accommodating and very nice. I highly recommend Mamouns Restaurant in Albany, NY !

Adam Schilling I had the Faroe Island Salmon—my second time this week because the first was so good—and it was outstanding. I ordered it medium with a light, flaky Maillard crisp, and the chef nailed it. The dish is incredibly well-balanced: quinoa, perfectly cooked artichoke hearts with the spiny bits thoughtfully removed, fresh greens, and a light but flavorful lemon-butter sauce. If you’re a salmon lover like me, Wellington’s should be an Albany must-visit. A+

Christopher Kelly myself and four of my friends eat there last night and it was amazing. One thing was better than next. The staff couldn’t have been any nicer. The chef and the sous chef came out to make sure we enjoyed everything. The big clams were ridiculous. The meatballs were the best I’ve ever had. There wasn’t a bad thing we we all shared it. We had the pork chop special. We had the steak with the Bolognese, the shrimp, rice cakes a few other things everything was phenomenal. The place is beautiful and a perfect location for downtown Albany.

Dan Flansburg One of my favorite restaurants. Everything we have gotten here has been excellent. I highly recommend getting the breakfast sandwich if youre here for lunch.

The G After a long day I really needed to eat and unwind. The brisket sandwich was really good and the wake me up (baileys and whiskey drink) was tasty. I came here a Thursday evening and it wasn’t too busy. Would definitely come back to the chill setting and great service.

Nicole Alexandra I loved this place. The ambience is awesome and food is very good. Portions are big and the fries were so good! We had a burger (very regular, it was good), the Korean short rib was very good, meat was very soft and tasty and it does comes with a bunch of things (rice, some kind of bread), pollo a la brasa was very very spicy, it was good but we weren’t expecting it to be so spicy, and the Korean cheesesteak was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had, no cap.

Torrence McCloud As someone who has eaten carribean food from Florida and other states, I would say, this place ranks high on my list. I had curry chicken, collard greens rice & peas and mac and cheese. Everything was well flavored and seasoned. I will definitely be back!!
