Jamie Pichcuskie We had a fantastic lunch at X- today. The wine list was impressive and the food was delicious. The staff was wonderful. The manager waa very kind and helpful. They were also extra careful with my allergy concerns. I look forward to returning soon.

Terri Graham My girlfriends and I go out to dinner on Wednesday nights. We decided to give Mi Gente a try and we were beyond pleased that we did. Miguel was our waiter....and he was awesome. We each ordered something different so we could try mulitiple dishes. WOW!!!!!! We loved every bite of every selection. Atmosphere was nice. Very open and very clean!!! We are going back next Wednesday. Give it a try! You will love it!!!

Tonya Stubblefield We were in town to celebrate my son graduating from West Texas A&M and wanted to have a nice dinner. We were all very happy with the service we received from everyone there and definitely no complaints about the quality of food. Yes, I would recommend anyone wanting to have a nice dinner should go there. Thanks for making our night together a good one.

Joey Wright Ate here with my wife for my birthday to try yet another nice place in Amarillo. To start off, we had the Lamb Chops Egg Rolls and Pig Candy. For our entrees, my wife had the Beef Filet At Poivre and I tried the Seared Organic Elk Tenderloin. I have tried the Elk at at Public House and was recommended by many friends that the Elk was good. What I can say is that they are right. The Elk by far is the best Elk that I have ever tasted. The meat did not have any of the gamey taste that is normal to deer, elk and other forest animals. The sides that came with both entrees were quite delicious especially with the sauce. Overall, I think OHMS is a really good restaurant and will definitely come back to eat again. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to our table. We had Kendra and she was a great waitress.

Konane Came for a birthday meal and was pleasantly surprised most resturaunts claim to have "wagyu" but when asked for the certification they happily provided. Service was impeccable food was delicious. The sous chef even humbled my request to see the steak and came to the table to show off a beautiful piece of meat. A bit of an expensive trip but well worth the money from the atmosphere to the frendly staff to the food that was prepared immaculately!

Craig Shackelford Went for my sons birthday. His choice was the Cajun seafood boil with clams, crawfish and lobster tail with garlic butter sauce. It also comes with corn and potatoes, which also are very flavorful. Having been cooked with the garlic butter. We had the calamari, appetizer, which Ive had calamari in the past, and its proved to not be my favorite. But this was pretty good.

Don Truelock Everything we had was really good. The catfish, house made chips and those hushpuppies was awesome. The steakfingers were nice and tender. The hamburger steak was fantastic. The place is a true hidden gem.

Aaron Phillips Cool Asian fusion spot downtown with friendly service. Went on a Monday evening with colleagues. We shared an appetizer and then I had the Hot n Spicy Beef with steamed rice. The sauce really made the dish, it is super balanced with its seasoning and very flavorful. The fried calamari was fresh and good with the sauce. Id go back.

Jillian B This is my second time to stay at the Embassy suites in Amarillo and we decided to dine in at 1887 again. Our first experience was just as great as this time around. Tuesday afternoon for dinner, Devin was our server (the only one), and he was more than fantastic! Our water glasses were never empty! When I asked about locally brewed ale, he made a great suggestion and it was a very tasty ipa brewed in the panhandle. Our party enjoyed the parmesean truffle fries, BBQ wings, steak, spaghetti, caper pasta, chicken Alfredo, cheese cake and gelato. The only discrepancy was the gelato trio was more of a duo - three scoops, but two chocolate and one coconut. Now, if youre expecting to get good food for cheap, keep on scrolling because this is not the place for you. You definitely get what you pay for. Kudos to Devin and the kitchen staff - thanks for a great dinner!

Alejandra Gutiérrez Delgado OMG, I love this place! The food is amazing. We ordered a grilled ribeye, a Monte Cristo, a frozen strawberry margarita, and a spicy mango margarita! The onion rings love it! Everything was so good. Our waitress, Saide, was really nice!

THE PHALKON Great biker bar. Friendly and helpful staff. Red was really nice. Perfect place for a quick bite and a beer. Plus, they have live music on the weekend! Couldnt ask for a better place!

Jocelyn Perez We had such a good time! Amazing Server she was attentive and recommended the best (wish I had got her name). We had 2 orders of fajitas for two combinations came out sizzling and so good… my kiddos over 21 had some great drinks and shots! We stayed across the street at the Courtyard which is absolutely convenient. David is the best at the front desk!

Mary Meaux Stopped in Amarillo for lunch. Yall....this food was sooooo good! One of my favorite things is trying local restaurants when we travel. This place has been in business for 28 years. Laura was our waitress and was lovely. We enjoyed talking with Scott and he was kind and gave us an order form for pies and bread. Homemade yeast rolls that were beyond delicious. I had the chicken fried steak (no, I didnt finish it) and my husband had the breaded pork chops (he finished the pork chops but not the mashed potatoes). Also...those potatoes and gravy from scratch. Taters, precious!! Looking for excuses to drive this way again.
